I started seeing clients in 2019, but have been a dietitian since 2001. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the University of Illinois and my Master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences from Illinois State University. I moved around the Midwest with my husband and worked in hospitals doing clinical dietetics and food service management. I became a stay at home mom for my boys when my youngest was born. I knew I wanted to get back into the nutrition field when my boys were school age. Although as a dietitian, even I struggled with diets and healthy habits and doubted my ability to help others. As I researched new ways to improve upon my own well-being, I came to the understanding that diets are meant to fail. We were not made to have the same shape and all be in smaller bodies. We were made to enjoy food and feel healthy. I am confident that I can help you and your family on your journey, regardless of where you are at in the process.
Imagine having a peaceful, easy relationship with food & your body. The answer lies within you & not the diet industry!
